How To Find A Professional Social Media Consultant – Part 2
In Part 1 of this series we discussed the importance of the business owner to at the very least educate themselves on the basics of what they are investing in. If you go into a meeting with a digital marketing without some sort of knowledge you could easily be taken advantage of. So let’s focus on some other important factors that will help you in your decision to find a professional social media consultant.
Make sure the company you select allows and offers you the ability to have administrative access to all of your social platforms and yes that does include your website. Make your own notes or have the company you use provide you with all login information and passwords to your sites. Make sure you have administrative rights.
Clearly define exactly what the digital marketing company is going to provide you. Their reports back should not be vague. Simple stats such as site traffic, number of likes, re-tweets and so on are not enough. Your company should be clearly aware of your goals and outline what kind of steps it will take to get there. In my experience there are no quick fixes. If a company promises you immediate results you may be disappointed.
So that wraps up Part 2 of this series. Check out Part 3 for some more thoughts. (Coming Soon)
